About this place
Directly connected to Roppongi-itchome Station on the 1th floor of Izumi Garden Tower, Ichibandori offers easy, sheltered access without needing to step outside on rainy days. On weekday lunchtimes, it fills with workers from nearby offices, maintaining a casual environment where solo diners can settle in comfortably.
The midday signature is tenkara chicken, made with breast meat soaked in a proprietary garlic marinade and fried crisp. Served in bite-sized pieces, it can be ordered as a hearty set meal when you have a big appetite or as a lighter portion to match a modest hunger. The lunch menu also includes rice bowls like teriyaki oyako-don and unagi with egg, giving plenty of satisfying options for a swift midday break.
In the evening, the establishment transitions into an izakaya centered on grilled chicken skewers and small plates. Alongside assorted yakitori platters, the kitchen serves specialties such as drunken chicken—chicken thigh steeped in sweet potato shochu and fried to a crisp finish—and the second-generation steamed Awaodori chicken mixed with nagaimo yam and sour ume plum paste. Paired with house-label special junmai sake, beer, or highballs, it makes a convenient spot to unwind after work.
